‘Morning Moments’ at the National Sports Museum

Visitors to the National Sports Museum, which opened in March, 2008 across two levels of the MCG’s Olympic Stand, can hear Olympians Wendy Grant, Ray Weinberg and Pam Ryan relive their memorable moments in May and June.

 

Remembering the Olympics

Meet Olympians Wendy Grant, Pam Ryan and Ray Weinberg as they relive their memorable moments for Australia at Olympic Games across four decades.

• Wendy Grant represented Australia in artistic gymnastics at the 1956 Olympics;

• Ray Weinberg competed in athletics at the 1948 and 1952 Olympic Games and coached the Australian athletics team at Mexico City in 1968.  

Competing in three Olympic Games, Pam (Kilborn) Ryan won Bronze in 1964 and Silver in 1968 in the 80m hurdles event. 

Entry is free with a museum ticket purchased that day at Gate 3.
