School Holiday Group Programs
Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be a sports star? Experience the thrill of being your sporting hero for a day at the National Sports Museum. There’s a heap of activities for kids of all ages (and parents too!), whether you’re into Aussie Rules, cricket, soccer, athletics…and much, much more.
Why not cycle on the velodrome against the computer (or your friend!), bat against a fearsome fast bowler, test out your football skills or see how fast you react to the starter’s gun in the 100 metre sprint - just like at the Olympics! You can even don the boxing gloves and test out your strength on the punching bag, lead a rugby scrum or fire an archer’s arrow.
The “Game On!” interactive area will keep children and parents entertained for hours – and help teach our next generation about our sporting heroes. A great way to spend the school holidays!
The National Sports Museum will provide a selection of ‘make and take activities’ on non-event days throughout the Victorian school holiday period.
Watch this space in the coming weeks to learn more about our school holiday activities!
