Education & Groups
The National Sports Museum celebrates the place of sport in Australian life and promotes national identity and pride.
It provides a unique opportunity to showcase what Australian sportsmen and women have achieved at the elite level with an exhibition of sporting artefacts from across all Australian sports within a single location.
The National Sports Museum will become a national focal point for achievements and values in sport, in particular the notion that the pursuit of excellence at the highest level is consistent with a commitment to fair play.
It will serve as an inspiration to the youth of Australia to be active, establish achievable goals, and will protect and preserve our nation's sporting heritage, ensuring our unique sporting culture and history is enhanced and appreciated.
