Patrons to the National Sports Museum can purchase light snacks, great coffee, hot food and beverages at the Museum Café, located to the left of the main entrance to the National Sports Museum. The café is open until 3.00pm.

The Hugh Trumble Café, located in the Ponsford Stand, is open from 12.00pm-2.00pm and offers plated hot meals, sandwiches, rolls, wraps and cold drinks.

A number of quality restaurants, bars and cafés are located in streets around the MCG, including Swan Street, Bridge Road and Wellington Parade, while areas such as Richmond, South Yarra, South Melbourne and the Melbourne CBD are within short distance of the MCG and also provide a number of dining options for visitors.
