On a non-match day, there are two diverse cafes open for the general public - the Northern Café offering light snacks, great coffee and hot food - and the Hugh Trumble Café offering plated meals, sandwiches, rolls, wraps and cold drinks.

From open, airy dining spaces to the Members Dining Room with spectacular views and contemporary, upmarket menu options; the MCG is now a venue offering much more variation than ever before.

With 24 event spaces, seating for 50 – 700 delegates (or up to 1000 guests for a cocktail party), Epicure Catering at the MCG offers the most discerning guest a wonderful array of function menu options. With attention to detail at every level, the clients experience is of paramount importance – followed closely by the environment, innovative food and wine, the service and the people!

Parking Facilities

  • 600 spaces available on site – subject to availability.
  • Parking is available at Olympic Park – enter off Swan Street (Gate E). The rate is $10 per day.
  • The closest train stations are the Jolimont and Richmond stations. Tramlines 75, 48 and 70 also stop at the MCG.
