It’s World Cup Soccer and these winter holidays celebrate the Round Ball game at the MCG and the National Sports Museum.
See world famous soccer ball aficionados from the ‘Trick Star Freestyle Footballers’. There will be two performances daily, based on all the drama and skill of a real football match, incorporating spectacular freestyle football tricks, crazy goal celebrations and a pumping soundtrack!
You will be able to make and take your very own foosball player, your own championship medal and complete soccer themed colour-ins. Also look out for your favourite sports stars, from all codes and challenge them at foosball or in the soccer interactive in Game On! Join in the fun of the NSM show, It’s a, it’s a…Goal!
An action packed show that looks at the reasons why we hit and miss when it comes to kicking goals. It’s a fun and scientific look at the different approaches taken when it comes to goal kicking in football, soccer and rugby.
The exhibition gallery will also be displaying a brand new exhibition ‘The Global Game; a history of Football in Australia’.
All of these activities are included in your regular entry fee to the National Sports Museum, located in the Olympic Stand, MCG (Enter at Gate 3).
